break up is an architectural installation that metaphorically represents the collapse and recovery of our economic system. The facade of the exhibition hall collapses and an avalanche of crumbling squares slowly falls to the ground. From the ruins of the collapse, newly structured squares rise to form a compound. The visitors wind between the ruins and the ascending new structure and discover the illuminated squares with quotations from well-known authors, politicians and philosophers who dealt with the subject of rebirth.
